The title has gone gold or platinum in 16 countries across Europe.
The Black Eyed Peas score a double Platinum Europe Award with their album Monkey Business, which has sold over two million copies across 20 European countries. Hot on the heels of the success of their previous album Elephunk, Monkey Business features collaborations with Justin Timberlake, James Brown, Jack Johnson and Sting. The May 2005 release is the fourth album from the American hip-hop group.
American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson gains a second Platinum Europe Award for her album Breakaway. It is the second album release from the singer since she shot to stardom after winning the 2002 TV reality series. The Grammy award winning album, released in June 2005, features hit singles Since U Been Gone and Because of You.
