Single Europe - the first ever coverage of all the singles that made one or more of the official sales charts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands - at one glance!
There are many publications that cover the complete history of one country's charts but never before has someone tried to put the data of more than one European country into one easy-to-read format. This is what I have tried to do here. Take the German, Swiss, Austrian and Dutch weekly charts and create a book that covers the information from all four of them at the same time. Note the similar as well as the different chart rankings across all countries or the cross-border successes of local acts.
For example did you know that Céline Dion's 1988 Eurovision winning song charted in Switzerland while in Austria either "The Power Of Love" or her European breakthrough hit "Think Twice" didn't chart at all? Or did you know that Madonna had a Swiss only hit in 1994 with "Bye Bye Baby" and her single "Secret" reached the top there but didn't hit the top 10 in either Germany or Austria? There is so much more to discover.
Second edition - that means more countries than in the first edition with the inclusion of the Dutch Mega Top 100, ten more years of Austrian chart history (1980-1990), No. 1 statistics dating back to the '60s and a completely revised artist section.
